Dev kit enables HomePlug GP designs
Время обновления: 2019-12-19 00:00:54
The PL-14 Home Plug development kit platform is based on existing HomePlug AV silicon, with an SPI port for MCU connection and emulation firmware and APIs supporting upcoming Green PHY products. The HomePlug GP (Green PHY) is a new specification that targets smart-grid/smart-home applications.
The Green PHY specification enables low-power, robust in-home connectivity with data rates up to 10 Mbits/s and is fully interoperable with networks based on the HomePlug AV and IEEE 1901 standards. The kit also supports the OFDM (ROBO) modes that will be used in forthcoming Green PHY solutions. ($600 — available today.)
Atheros, a pioneer in the field of 802.11, is a wireless network technology manufacturer based on OFDM. It provides an IEEE802.11a 5-GHz-based chipset and expands its development in Bluetooth, GPS, and Ethernet. Atheros' chips are widely used by major manufacturers, and Netgear, TP-Link, D-Link, Intel and other manufacturers are Atheros customers.
