The Barracuda? Series of DC-DC Converters from GE Energy (Formerly Lineage Power) support 9.6 - 12Vdc intermediate bus applications where multiple low voltages are subsequently generated using point of load (POL) converters, as well as other application requiring a tightly regulated output voltage. They provide 33A output current at output voltages from 8.1Vdc to 12Vdc in stands-based eighth-brick and quarter-brick DOSA footprints. GE Energy (Formerly Lineage Power)'s Barracuda? Series incorporates digital control, synchronous rectification technology, and innovative packaging techniques to achieve efficiency reaching 96% peak at 12 Vdc, eliminating the need for heat sinks in many applications.
