Hammond 1590K Series Zinc Diecast Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing's 1590K Series Zinc Diecast Enclosures are strong electronic instrument enclosures made of tough zinc diecast alloy. The zinc material is soft, easy to machine, and makes plating this enclosure easy. The zinc material also offers a heavy weight alternative to Hammond's 1590 Series Diecast Aluminum Enclosures. Other features of the 1590K Series include lap joint construction that provides protection against dust and splashing water, improved EMI/RFI shielding, a design that meets IP54 standards, and a low side wall draft angle (2 degrees or less) for easy P.C. board mounting.

Hammond Manufacturing - Electronics Division manufactures plastics (made of low-cost styrene or impact-resistant flame retardant ABS), versatile, hand-held and instrument housings in aluminum, die-cast aluminum and steel. In addition, the company offers a full range of racks and accessories.
