SMD blow fuses offer current rating to 30 A

The square, ceramic surface-mountable SMM Series of 3812-size blow fuses feature rated current values of 20, 25, and 30 A. The fuses suit overcurrent protection in a broad spectrum of high-current applications in which a small-form-factor device is specified to optimize board space.

The RoHS-compliant, Pb-free, and halogen-free fuses have voltage ratings up to 250 Vac and 65 Vdc. Opening time is 4 hours minimum at 100% of A rating and 60 s maximum at 200% of A rating. Operating temperature range is –55° to 85°C with proper derating. The fuses have matte-tin plated brass caps and come on 13-in. reels with 2,000 per reel.
